Balearic Islands and Costa del Sol: Epicenters of Luxury Homes Near Golf Courses

The Balearic Islands have established themselves as the hub of the most expensive homes around golf courses. In addition to Reial Golf de Bendinat, other luxury locations include Golf Club Ibiza in Santa Eulalia del Río, with prices reaching €8,033/m², and Golf d’Andratx in the Mallorcan town of Andratx, where the average price reaches €7,468/m². Also notable is the Arabella Golf Mallorca complex in Palma, which includes three courses in the exclusive Son Vida area: Golf Son Vida, Son Muntaner, and Son Quint, with prices around €7,447/m².

Outside the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands make an appearance with Golf Costa Adeje, in southern Tenerife, where the average price per square meter is €6,885/m².

The list returns to the Balearic Islands with Golf de Ponent, also in Calvià (Mallorca), where homes average €6,791/m². The first mainland golf course to appear on the list is La Zagaleta Country Club, in Benahavís, Málaga, on the Costa del Sol, with average prices of €6,693/m².

Andalusia, which has 98 golf courses, is the region with the highest number of facilities in Spain. Overall, the top 18 golf courses boast homes with average prices exceeding €5,000/m².

Returning to Mallorca, Golf Santa Ponça in Calvià offers three courses where the average price of surrounding properties is €6,233/m². Madrid also makes an appearance, with Golf La Moraleja 1 in Alcobendas, where properties reach €6,040/m², making it one of the capital’s most prestigious and expensive neighborhoods.

In Marbella and Benahavís, on the Costa del Sol, we find other notable courses such as Los Naranjos Golf Club, Magna Marbella Golf, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, and La Quinta Golf & Country Club, with prices ranging from €5,380 to €5,980/m².
